Big Bike Revival - Guided Ride (Road) - Barnard Castle School - 8th August

3 hours

Easy

Meet at Barnard Castle school before heading out together on local roads. A friendly ride for adults who want to feel more comfortable cycling on the road. Cafe stop included!

Ride with others and build your confidence

We will meet in the stunning grounds of Barnard Castle School where you will be welcomed by your guide. We’ll begin with introductions and a few relaxed group activities, starting with a simple bike safety check to make sure your bike is ready to ride. We’ll then practise some key bike handling skills and introduce a few group riding techniques to help everyone feel confident before heading out. Once everyone is ready, we’ll set off together on our ride route.

These sessions are designed to be friendly, supportive and inclusive, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and ride at a comfortable pace.
